Hi! My name is Emily Asserson and I currently manage Woops! Tribeca Worth Street bakeshop. During my free time, I love traveling with my husband and two kids. I also have a passion for cooking and have worked in bakeries for the most part of my life. However, what sets Woops! apart is our eye caching aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere. We go above and beyond to create an unique guest experience; from our white and black tables with fresh flowers to our picture worthy bold colored macarons and pastries from around the world. Tribeca brings a lot of diversity within our customers; people that are working in corporate or in the fashion industry and tons of tourists since the World Trade Center memorial is just nearby. My goal for Woops! Tribeca is to be the primary choice for gifting and special events for the people who work and live in the neighborhood. For people to talk into Woops! before a dinner party or company meeting, knowing that they will find the perfect gifting options.
“This is now my favorite place to clear my head during lunch after a hectic 1st half of the work day. I come here and write in my journal and enjoy the delicious macarons. The macarons I have tasted so far are cookies and cream, caramel, red velvet and my favorite one MINT CHOCOLATE! Relaxing music in the background, cute table with fresh flowers on them.”- Ashley T, New York
“Casually passed by and had to go in. Super cute interior, amazing lemonade and out of this world macaroons. They were sooo good and extremely pretty! Wish I’d taken a picture.”- Eline A, Norway
